Fashion Show Highlights

On Friday 27th September, Bath had a busy night with exciting events at various venues all over the city.

Best of all, was Blue's Charity Fashion Show, held at The Loft, a magnificent concept store, home to Blue and Cafe Lucca.

Fabulous colleagues, friends and customers of Blue kindly agreed to be the show-stopping models. After some last minute preparations and a top up of fizz the doors were opened to excited guest.

The spectators proved to be a wide range of friends and family, including happy (or reluctant) husbands and cheerful children, snapping the entire show on their grandmothers iPhone. The guests were a fantastic crowd with ages ranging from 9 - 90!

Spirits rose as the music began with a burst of atmospheric military drums and the show commenced with Electronic vibes, French Pop and alternative Jazz remixes. Guests were surprised with inspiring outfits by some of Blue's most dazzling designers. All outfits were carefully coordinated by Blue's top buyers.

First up on the catwalk, we saw an attractive collection of laid-back, casual looks bursting with style, by Lurdes Bergada, Rundholz and Mama B.

Next, an array of contemporary and sophisticated daywear, by Annette Gortz, Clemente and Ania Schierholt. Also seen, was a surprise appearance of the new 'dressy' collection by Mathilde, which some of you may remember by its previous name Elm Design.

Followed by a finale of glamorous, luxury evening outfits, by XD Xenia Design and Vizyon (new to Blue), featuring lots of velvets, beads and embellishment.

As though this wasn't enough to entertain the audience, all guests were treated to a charity raffle showcasing Blue's best prizes yet! Top prizes offered luxury goodies, worth up to £300, including lunch for 2 at award winning Cafe Lucca, a posh new hair do, courtesy of BA1Hair, a bottle from Beckford's Bottle Shop and the top prize was a beautiful brand new pair of Lofina boots from Blue Women's Clothing.

So far, the show has raised an impressive £739 for CLIC Sargent and you can make this number grow by donating online here
